Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Petey - Medium - Young
Petey is a 3 year old Red Heeler. He is a very loving and loyal dog and is especially good with men. He loves to jump in the truck and go for a ride, help with the chores, man stuff. He gets along well with any size dog and is very good with older children. His herding instinct is too high for toddlers. Petey knows basic commands and follows directions to wait, out, come. He is very intelligent and loves all people. He is currently in foster care with 6 other dogs of varying sizes and gets along well with all. He is not good with cats. He is crate trained and social even with strangers. Petey would do best in a home where he will get attention each day and maybe have a dog friend to play with. He has been a delightful guest, but really yearns for a home of his own.
